Eddie and Rachel had not been dating for very long when Eddie came round one evening as Rachel and I were house sharing . Both Rachel and I had pet hamsters . Mine we had called Fred who was very tame and new to the household . Rachel and I were chatting in the kitchen when  we were alerted by Eddie shouting :-‘ Oh no Karen I think I have done something to Fred ? I think I have squeezed his intestines out ? ‘ 

Immediately me and Rachel rushed into to see what wee Eddie had been  up to . Poor ‘ Fred’ had given birth to a bany hamster . I guess you must be wondering why  a highly intelligent bio chemist who I believe studied genetics thought my hamster’s intestines had come out !
So Rachel and  I explained that it was a baby hamster in Eddie’s hands not intestines .’ But how?’   said Eddie Fred is male ! So we explained that the pet shop hadn’t sexed the hamster correctly and Fred was female . Fred then became Nangy Nangy Noo and didn’t  want to be a single parent so unfortunately didn’t  give her baby the necessary nurturing  to survive .
Whenever he  visited he always spoilt Nangy Nangy Noo ! Luckily didn’t feed her with his beloved caramel slices which were too dear to his heart ! Will miss you dear Eddie  and your sometimes beautiful innoncence love Karen xxxx
